Choose storage policy

Storage policy manages storage consumption and free up space for you automatically. There are three storage policies available for you to choose for your company storage.

Only Files

Media files in Chat, Feed and Announcement will be deleted when they reach the temporary file age threshold, including their thumbnails.

Standard

Media files in Chat, Feed and Announcement will be deleted when they reach the temporary file age threshold, excluding their thumbnails.

Keep All

None of the media files will be deleted unless they are explicitly deleted by your company administrator.

Follow these steps to choose your storage policy.

Desktop & Tablet
Mobile

Click Matter on the core navigation bar at the top left of the screen.
Click on the gear wheel icon at the top right of the screen.
In the Admin Panel section, click Account Management.
You will be redirected to @Work account management page on your browser.
Click Manage Storage.
In the Storage Policy section, click Change.
Select your new storage policy option.
Click Apply.

Tap Matter on the core navigation bar at the bottom left of the screen.
In the Admin Panel section on the top, tap Account Management.
You will be redirected to @Work account management page on your browser.
Tap Manage Storage.
In the Storage Policy section, tap Change.
Select your new storage policy option.
Tap Apply.
